Charities we support:
CLIC Sargent (for children with Cancer or Leukaemia) : over £1700 raised thus far and we continue to support the charity. CLIC offers practical hands-on care. Not just clinical services but financial and emotional support. 'Each day, five families in the UK are told their child has cancer or leukaemia. From that moment on their lives will never be the same again. Most children will survive, some will unfortunately die, but the scars on the family will remain. Our role is to try and help these children and their families cope and keep life as normal as possible.'
RNLI : over £300 raised thus far and we continue to maintain our support.
'Saving lives at sea. The RNLI is a charity that provides a 24hour lifesaving service around the UK and ROI. Saving the lives of people at sea and fisherman, who risk their lives daily to provide the fish industry with our golden commodity. The RNLI receives no government funding.'
The Dream Team Charity : over £300 raised so far and still supporting.
'The Dream Team is a registered charity that exists to grant the dreams and wishes of sick, disabled and terminally ill children in the UK. Based in South East Essex, The Dream Team has been in existence as a registered charity since April 1996'.
Various local Schools : we have contributed £1,500 to date and will always continue our support. We actively help local schools by providing funds for books and new computer systems.
All charities are worthwhile causes and we have tried to help as much as we can. Our staff organise fun fundraising schemes and customers, private donators and friends and family are always willing to contribute.
